2026: The Year of the Scribes

corporate guy in front of laptop

There are seasons when you discern a shift happening. 2026 is one of such years, and I’m calling it the Year of the Scribes.

I see it as a stirring among writers, creators, and builders. You can feel it if you’ve been paying attention. People who’ve been carrying ideas for years are suddenly feeling the urgency to put them into the world, finally. Not just writers in the traditional sense, but anyone called to document, create, and distil vision into tangible form.

These are the people who will:

  • Distil divine insight and mission so others can run with clarity
  • Create new frameworks for existing ideas that unlock fresh understanding
  • Share timeless truths in new ways that meet people where they are
  • Capture insights through poetry, psalms, and prose that shift atmospheres
  • Create lasting documentation and documentaries of recent innovations that might otherwise be forgotten

If you’ve been sensing a pull to write—whether that’s a book, a blog, a business strategy, or even consistent journaling—this message is for you.

The Season of Kingdom Scribes

This is what it looks like across board:

  • Books that have been “almost started” for 3+ years are about to get written: Whether it’s a recent nudge you keep having to write a book. Or you’ve had the outline and have talked about it with close friends. You know and have told yourself “this year is the year.”
  • Digital solutions that have been “just an idea” are about to get built: With the advent of AI software development tools, more apps, courses, frameworks, and tools that will serve people and solve real problems are going to be developed.
  • Kingdom businesses and mission-driven ventures that have been in planning mode are about to launch: You’ve prayed about it. You know it’s your assignment. You’ve probably done some research. But something has kept you from taking the leap.

Sound familiar?

Vision Without Execution Is Just Wishful Thinking

You already know this: You can have the divine download, know it’s an urgent assignment, but if you don’t have the systems, accountability, and community to steward it, it stays stuck.

And that’s the tragedy, isn’t it? Not that the vision was wrong, but that it never made it out of your head and into the world where it could do what it was designed to do. This is why scribes don’t just need inspiration. They need execution and the right community.

What Does It Mean to Be a Scribe in 2026?

Being a scribe isn’t just about being a “professional writer.” It’s about being a steward of revelation, strategy, and insight.

  • It’s the entrepreneur documenting the God-given business strategy that could change an industry.
  • It’s the creative writing the book that’s been burning in their chest for five years.
  • It’s the leader building the app or solution that will serve thousands.
  • It’s the psalmist capturing the song, the poem, the prophetic word that needs to be preserved.

Scribes are writers across all strata of life—and this is your season to rise.

How to Step Into Your Scribe Mandate

If you’re sensing this call, here’s how to steward it well:

1. Create a System for Regular Writing

You don’t need to write a whole book tomorrow. You need a rhythm.

  • Start with daily journaling—even if it’s just 10 minutes
  • Join a writing challenge to build consistency
  • Block time in your calendar like it’s a non-negotiable meeting

Consistency beats intensity every single time.

2. Stay Accountable

Writing alone is hard. Writing with others who understand the assignment? Game-changing.

  • Find an accountability partner or small group
  • Share your goals and progress regularly
  • Let someone hold you to what you said you’d do

3. Share Your Journey

You don’t have to wait until the book is done to start talking about it.

  • Journal privately to process your thoughts
  • Share with a trusted few who can pray and encourage you
  • Post online—on social media, Substack, a blog—to build momentum and community

4. Share Your Writing (As Led)

Not everything you write needs to be public. But some of it does.

Ask yourself: Who needs to hear this? When is the right time? What’s the right platform?

Then obey the leading and release it into the world.

Introducing: The Bezalel Builders Writing Challenge

Because I believe so deeply in this scribe season, I’m launching The Bezalel Builders—a community and coaching program designed specifically for authors ready to finish and publish their books.

And we’re starting with a 30-Day Writing Challenge to help you:

✅ Build consistency and flex your writing muscles
✅ Fulfill your writing mandate with support and structure
✅ Connect with a community of fellow writers who get it

Here’s what’s included:

  • Weekly writing prompts in your online dashboard so you can plan your writing time
  • An online community of fellow scribes cheering you on
  • Bi-weekly group meetings for encouragement, feedback, and momentum
  • Discounted book coaching and consultation packages from Tehillah Solutions

We’re starting with 30 days. At the end, we’ll launch the full cohort. You can join the waitlist here.

But here’s the key: You don’t have to wait to start writing. The challenge is just the container. Your obedience is what matters.

This Is Your Moment

If you’ve been carrying a message, a strategy, a story, this is your year. 2026 is the year you stop saying “one day” and start saying “day one.”

The world doesn’t need another person with a great idea. It needs people who will execute the ideas they’ve been given. So let me ask you:

What would it look like if you actually finished what you started?

What if the book got written? What if the business launched? What if the framework you’ve been building in your head finally made it onto paper?

You’re not meant to build alone. You’re meant to build with others who understand the assignment.

Let’s build together.
